  • Vendors or brands offering filmmaking/photography accessories or services, provided the content is educational, not purely promotional.

  • Buyer’s guides for accessories by use case (run-and-gun, interviews, YouTube, documentaries)

Content Quality Standards

To ensure value for our readers, submissions must meet the following:

  • Original & Unpublished: 100% original, not published elsewhere.

  • Accurate & Current: Fact-checked with reputable sources where relevant.

  • Word Count: Minimum 1,000 words (unless otherwise agreed).

  • Readable Structure: Use H2/H3s, short paragraphs, bullets, and visuals (images, diagrams, short clips) where applicable.

  •  Tone: Professional, helpful, and approachable. Explain technical terms as needed.

Link Policy

We allow up to two contextual links per article, under these conditions:

  • Links must be original, high-quality, and highly relevant to the topic.

  • Links should add value (tutorials, references, credible resources).

  • No purely promotional or low-quality links.

  • The editorial team may edit, remove, or add rel attributes at our discretion.

  • We do not insert links into existing articles.

SEO Guidelines

  • Use relevant keywords naturally (e.g., filmmaking accessories, lighting setups, shotgun mics, camera rigs, ND filters, video workflow).

  • Proper HTML headings (H1, H2, H3) and descriptive alt text for images.

  • Include a concise meta description suggestion (≤160 characters).

  • Avoid keyword stuffing; write for humans first.

Fee and Payment

 

  • Guest post publication fee: $65 per post (covers editorial review, formatting, and long-term hosting/promotion).

  • Payment is due upfront before publication.


Agency Packages:

  • Package A – 5 Posts: 10% off — $292.50

  • Package B – 10 Posts: 15% off — $552.50

  • Package C – 15 Posts: 20% off — $780


Fees are non-negotiable. Payment accepted via PayPal or credit/debit card.

Sponsorship Disclosure

We do not mark qualifying guest posts as “sponsored.” If a submission is purely advertorial or doesn’t meet quality standards, we may decline or label it accordingly. All articles are subject to editorial review.

Publication Details

  • Guest posts appear on our Blog (not the homepage).

  • Posts are indexed by search engines for long-term visibility.

  • We may update titles/meta/formatting for clarity and SEO.

What We Don’t Accept

  • Duplicate or plagiarized content

  • Purely promotional/sales-driven articles

  • Outdated or factually inaccurate pieces

  • Content unrelated to filmmaking/photography accessories

  • “Grey niches,” gambling, adult, illegal, or harmful content

  • Any impersonation or misrepresentation

Submission Process

  1. Pitch Your Idea: Email a brief summary and outline to contact@filmmakingaccessories.com.

  2. Approval: If your topic aligns with our editorial focus, we’ll green-light it.

  3. Submit Your Draft: Send your full article (Google Doc or Word) with images/credits.

  4. Revisions: We may request edits for clarity, accuracy, or formatting.

  5. Publish: After final approval and payment, we’ll schedule and publish your post.

Legal Conditions

  • You retain copyright, but grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to publish, modify for clarity/formatting, and distribute your article.

  • Exclusivity required: your article may not be republished elsewhere without written permission.

  • You confirm that all text and media are your own or properly licensed (with credits).

Guest Post Agreement

All contributors must sign our Guest Post Agreement before publication, covering:

  • Editorial standards

  • Link and sponsorship policies

  • Compensation and payment terms

  • Intellectual property and author credit

  • Content usage rights
